Hi Dad,
Came to see you on my own today as you will know Mum is now living at Pilgrim Wood Care Home.
I know she would rather not be there but at least she is looked after and cared for all the time and she is not on her own.
Take care Dad will see you again on your birthday.

Never to be forgotten. We didn't always get on at times but you were my Dad and for that you will always be remembered.
If you were watching today you would have seen me and Mum leave you flowers and we arrived in your old car. First time back on the road in eight years. I think my Mum liked the thought.

Things get easier with time but will never forget. If I could go back in time I would wish that we had been together more and talked. You were always busy and I was on my own.
